Using pool noodles, blonde wigs, and a 1:1 glue/water mix, I styled 10 wigs for the “Beauty School Dropout” musical number in the 2019 Production of Grease. I sectioned each wig, painted the glue mixture onto each section, and rolled each section onto a segment of pool noodle being careful to keep the hair fibers smooth. I used coated wire to secure the rolled segments together and add structure. Elastic chin straps were added to secure the wigs to the performers.
