I have lived in Oklahoma for 30 years and worked in the Oklahoma City theatre community focusing on costumes for over 10 years. I feel very fortunate to create costumes in Oklahoma because it is an artistic community that is vibrant and diverse but is close-knit enough to allow me to know and work with many of my fellow artists. I earned my Diploma in Handcraft Tailoring from the University of the Arts, London College of Fashion in 2009. Before returning to Oklahoma, I interned with Russell and Hodge learning the craft of bespoke men's shirt-making and then worked as Production Administrator/Costume Assistant for Walking Thoughts, Ltd., a North London based theatre company, during its production of “Anastasia”. I worked as the Costume Director for Painted Sky Opera in Oklahoma City and still work with the company as a freelance costume designer. Some of my most recent costume design work for Painted Sky Opera includes "The Turn of the Screw", “Pagliacci”, and “Rigoletto”. In addition to my work with Painted Sky Opera I am on faculty at the University of Central Oklahoma as the Assistant Professor of Costume Design.
